Quote-to-cash automation across CRM, signing and books
A B2B software company handled its sales process by hand across three Zoho apps. We migrated the existing Zapier automations to n8n, then built the quote-to-cash flow: quotes fill from the deal, stages update on their own, signing runs through Zoho Sign, and a signed quote creates the customer, sales order and down-payment invoice in Zoho Books.

The problem
The same deal was carried by hand across Zoho CRM, Zoho Sign and Zoho Books. Every step was a place to re-key a detail or wait on someone to notice the last step had finished.
The automations that did exist lived on Zapier, apart from this path, and were hard to see or change as one system.
What I built
Two tracks. Move the Zapier estate onto n8n, then connect CRM, Sign and Books so a quote can become cash without someone carrying it.
Step 01 · Migrate
The existing Zapier automations moved to n8n.
Step 02 · Quote
Quotes fill from the deal. The quote stage moves the deal, one way, so the two cannot loop.
Step 03 · Sign
Signing runs through Zoho Sign. Completed, rejected, expired and recalled each take a different path.
Step 04 · Books
A signed quote creates the customer, the sales order and the down-payment invoice in Zoho Books.
Step 05 · Guardrails
Duplicate webhooks are ignored, quote versions stay distinct, and a lost deal cancels signing and closes the deal instead of invoicing.
